The firm of Engel Architects has executed projects that vary greatly in scope from residential additions to church renovations and expansions to complete equestrian centers. We take great pride in serving our clients well, giving them good value for their investment. We have a wide array of experience in different methods of contracting for construction, including general bidding, selective bidding, and both formal and informal design-build projects. Furthermore, we have assisted numerous clients by serving as the construction manager. In essence, we strive to make the project an enjoyable experience for all parties involved. This approach has resulted in many satisfied clients and continuing friendships that span the years.

The staff at Engel Architects is talented and enthusiastic, having many years of experience. The firm's Principal, Elvin R. Engel, worked in the construction trade as a carpenter and foreman while attending Drexel University Evening College. Elvin developed a small construction company; then he interned for a Lancaster architectural firm. In 1990 he obtained his Pennsylvania registration and organized the firm of Engel Architects. Elvin has a private pilot's license that gives the firm extended capabilities along the east coast.

Project architect and office manager David Kulina graduated from Virginia Tech in 1987, then serving as a project manager for a number of public school, college, and commercial projects before joining Engel Architects in May 2000.  Together with draftspersons and secretarial staff, Engel Architects is a team dedicated to meeting client needs.
